Historical Acknowledgement
As we launch our new website and expand our communication with veterans, supporters, and the community, we would like to extend a special acknowledgement and heartfelt thanks to Mr. Kent Adcock, the developer and founding force behind Umatilla Veterans Village. Through his vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to veterans, he formed and helped create the community we know today. His leadership and determination laid the foundation for a place where veterans can find support, resources, dignity, and a renewed sense of belonging.

Additionally, we have received tremendous support in building our community at Umatilla Veterans Village through the contributions of organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, United Way, local businesses, community partners, and many others. While countless individuals and organizations have played an important role in our success, much of this collaboration has been made possible through the dedication and leadership of Kent Adcock. His commitment to veterans extends far beyond helping secure grants and housing opportunities. Through his insight, guidance, and unwavering support, he has helped bring people, organizations, and resources together for the benefit of our veterans and the entire community.

Of special significance is Mr. Adcock's contribution of memorial bricks placed within our Veterans Memorial. This lasting tribute will stand as a permanent reminder of his generosity, compassion, and commitment to those who have served our nation. For generations to come, these memorial bricks will serve as a visible testament to how much Kent Adcock has contributed to our organization and the veterans we are honored to serve.
